So it's been awhile since I had time to do anything but work and sleep. The transition of my move down to DC and starting work took longer than I expected. I have finally settled down in an apartment in Arlington and gotten comfortable with my job.

My love for Hugh Laurie is coming back full force which is completely fine by me. So is my love for Chris Meloni. Both very hot men, both have the ability to make me go HUH!?!

So quick update while I am taking a break from work already:
- DC is a whole lot warmer than what I expected. I don't know if "The West Wing" lied to me but it hasn't been that cold and here has been no snow.

- It it is weird working with big names these days. Totally not used to it whatsoever.

- I also learned that my bosses will use me to speak to my former boss. A certain freshman congressman from CT. I don't get it man but apparently it is cool that I can call a Congressman by his first name.

- Fanfic is way harder to read while at work. Especially my new found love of RPF. Yet I feel like I am doing something covert and I like it!

- Had a boyfriend, broke up with boyfriend when I realized I wasn't getting over a former boyfriend.

- I now have a dog. Oscar is a 7lb long haired chihuahua owned by my roomie.

- It is hard to find any type of New York sporting events on tv down here.

- THE GIANTS KICK ASS!

And now back to my regularly scheduled program of working and sleeping. look back for more updates soon!

So its been awhile since I have been on this thing. Really busy year I guess, graduating from school, my first real campaign job, my first campaign win, and now looking for a new campaign job. Dated some guys, broke up with some guys. thought about going back to school, right now I am narrowing it down to either Georgetown, George Washington or the JFK School of Goverment at Harvard. I mean it isnt everday they get an applicant who was a key part to helping a man beat a 24-year incumbent in Congress right, especially if they have a recommendation? Let's see, I have gotten hooked on some new shows, gotten some crushes on some new old men and seen more movies in the past month than I have in about 3 years.

    <lj:music>kick ass mix</lj:music>

So the past couple of weeks have been insanely boring. My little sister, Nikki, likes to point out that all we seem to do these days is an variation of eating, going on the computer, and being in bed (whether we are watching tv or sleeping.) While there is not necessarily anything wrong with that, it does get pretty monotonous, even when my brain is shut down mode I can still pull out the SAT words. I find nothing wrong with getting up from having a nice dream about either Vincent D'Onofrio or Bradley Whitford (its usually VDO), getting something to eat, then going on the computer to read some fanfics about VDO and BW's television characters (I recommend anything in the West Wing fanficdom written by Shelly Smith, Jen Wilson, or Liza Cameron and anything by thousand miles, or b. cavis in the Criminal Intent fandom, on that note check out their livejournals, they are pretty funny too), then watching some tv (normally any Law & Order, mainly CI, The West Wing, or Criminal Minds.) But what gets me is the hours I rack up on the old comp doing absolutely nothing. I could be on for like 5 hours and not realize it. Like one of Vincent D'Onofrio character's Sam Deed stated in the movie "Happy Accidents" (good movie, I recommend all go see it)time always seems to fly by when you are happy or having fun. Even right now, I have been going on for about 10 minutes while having one eye on the tv which is featuring some CI. Ok its late, I will finish with my nonsense tomorrow...

Hey everyone!

Forgot I had this thing... Hmmm, let's see. Well its 2006 and nothing really feels different. I know it is really only 2 days in but still nothing seems to be hitting me anymore. I mean I am graduating in 5 months. I am going to be a full fledged adult and it isn't hitting me. In one year I am going to be off in NYC doing my thing on my own and it isn't hitting me. I am going to be 22 years old and it isn't hitting me...

Well I guess I should tell you all that besides the whole teflon thing I got going on lately only three things stick to my surface. Three people, men to be exact. 1.Bradley Whitford (loved him since I was 15, me and him are just like kindred, or he would be if he knew me.), 2.Vincent D'Onofrio (no words to describe the sexiness, the eyes, the height, the all around god-like stature.), 3.Chris Noth (don't ask, cuz I won't be able to tell you why.)
